Miller College is authorized to confer the degrees of Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.), Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.), and Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) by the State of Michigan. The authority is based on the College Articles of Incorporation in the State of Michigan.

Miller College's BSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
The College is controlled by Miller College Board of Trustees and operates within the laws of the State of Michigan and the USA. The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the College and is directly responsible to the College Board of Trustees.
