Admissions advisors assist students in selecting programs of study that fit their interests. A program of study consists of a list of required and suggested courses that lead to the completion of a bachelor’s degree. The program of study helps students achieve their career goals. New students must see an admissions advisor to establish their program of study before registering for classes. In this way students can be assured they have chosen the correct course to meet their educational goals. Current students are assigned faculty advisors in their program area to review and update their program of study. Students who decide to change their program of study must have a complete program review by an admissions advisor, develop a new program of study, and fill out a Change of Program form.
