June   7, 2004

Initial   contact with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) was made.

November   18, 2005

The   candidacy visit self-study was submitted to the HLC

February   6-8, 2006

Candidacy   visit was held

May   22, 2006

Miller   College was notified that it had achieved candidacy status with the stipulation   on Affiliation Status as “accreditation at the bachelor’s level is limited to   the Bachelor of Applied Science and the Bachelor of Science.

June   22, 2006

The   Affiliation Status was adjusted after Miller College requested to add the   Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.).

 

Miller   College formally requested approval of Initial Accreditation at the   baccalaureate level with authorization to offer the Bachelor of Applied   Science, Bachelor of Science, and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees.

January   28, 2008

The   HLC Review Committee voted to grant initial accreditation status to Robert.   B. Miller College. Membership in the North Central Association is granted.

February   14, 2008

Miller   College was Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of the   North Central Association.
