Welcome to the Miller College School of Arts and Sciences.  Miller College is proud of its mission that values student learning, critical thinking, oral and written communication skills, and an understanding of a globally-oriented world.

Currently, the School of Arts and Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science with a Liberal Studies major or a Bachelor of Applied Science with a General Studies major. Today's employers are looking for broadly educated students with the potential and desire for advanced training in specific areas needed by the employer. Miller College will prepare graduates from the School of Arts and Sciences with the strong cognitive, presentation, and social skills necessary for such a successful career path.

Many students are well-suited for this program, including those who have numerous interests or who are unsure where to direct their focus.   The Liberal Studies and the General Studies degrees provide a well-rounded education and are principally designed for two groups of students: non-traditional students, who are already in the workplace but need a bachelor's degree to advance their current career and traditional students with clear academic or career goals, who are open to and interested in novel ways of organizing an undergraduate experience which draws upon multiple resources and numerous disciplines.

As Miller College continues to grow, additional courses and degree programs will be offered.  Our dedicated faculty are ready to work with students to develop the competencies that will afford a competitive edge in the job market and that will prepare students to pursue graduate or professional education.   For further information please call (269)660-8021 ext. 2714, or stop by for a visit and a personal welcome to Miller College. We look forward to working with you in achieving your educational goals.

Sincerely,

Harry Adamson
