Developed in collaboration with local teachers, administrators and education leaders, the Miller College Institute is dedicated to expanding professional development opportunities for educators in the Battle Creek area and surrounding communities. Our mission is to nurture the teachers’ professional growth through every phase of their careers, from induction to Professional Certification and beyond. No matter where you are in your educational journey, the Miller College Institute has something for you.
- Additional Endorsements: Need a planned program of study to upgrade from Provisional to Professional Certification? Want to add an endorsement to your Professional Certificate? The Miller College Institute offers additional endorsement programs for elementary-certified teachers in all four core content areas, as well as Reading, Learning Disabilities and Early Childhood Education.
- SB-CEUs and College Credits for Certificate Renewal: Need 6 credits or 18 SB-CEUs to renew your Professional Certificate? Miller College offers several popular classes and single-day workshops in topics as diverse as teaching writing, dyslexia, succeeding with students who have challenging behaviors, autism, instructional technology, integrating the arts into content area teaching and much, much more … all taught by respected local educators!
