Admissions advisors assist students in forming program plans that fit their aptitudes, interests, personalities, and lifestyles. A program plan consists of a list of required and suggested courses that lead to the completion of a degree. The program plan helps students achieve their career goals.
New students must see an admissions advisor to establish their program plan before registering for classes. In this way students can be assured they have chosen the correct courses to meet their educational goals.
Current students are assigned faculty advisors in their program area to review and update their program plans. Students who decide to change their program of study must have a complete program review by an admissions advisor, develop a new program plan, and fill out a Change of Program form.
