The Miller College Scholarship Committee and staff from Voces in Battle Creek have partnered to offer Voces members and affiliates a unique scholarship opportunity to assist with tuition and associated costs of attending Miller College to complete a bachelor’s degree.
The Unity scholarship is for new students with a minimum 2.75 transfer GPA from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants will need to address the following question in the required essay: What would a community of opportunity, inclusion, and well being for Latinos/Hispanics in Greater Battle Creek look like to you?Selected recipients will receive up to 50% of their tuition paid for the entire time he/she is taking classes at Miller College.
Voces is a non-profit community-based organization that works to build a community of opportunity, inclusion, and well-being for Latinos/Hispanics in Greater Battle Creek. Voces works with Latino youth and their families to increase their self-sufficiency and educational attainment. This exciting partnership helps realize that goal.
