Miller College receives Collegiate Advertising Award for television advertising

The Miller College marketing department received a Silver Collegiate Advertising Award for its 2012 television commercial directed and produced by SoundStage 1 Productions, located in Climax, Michigan.

The first annual Collegiate Advertising Awards (CAA) program was held in December 2012.  The CAA is an elite competition designed specifically for communication, marketing and advertising initiatives of colleges and universities from across the nation.  More than 700 entries from the United States and Canada were entered into the 2012 program.

All entries are judged by industry experts and are scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 100 total points.  Participant’s entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories. Judging criteria included creativity,layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

Miller College’s commercial entitled, Where I Want to Be, was given a score in the range of 90-94, top 12% in the nation.
