Student Readings During Spring into the Arts, May 18, 2012

Miller College will have selected artwork from books submitted to the College’s Children’s Literature Project, on display during the Spring Into the Arts event on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in downtown Battle Creek.  The Battle Creek Tower, located at 70 West Michigan Avenue, will host the Children’s Literature Project artwork.

The Project is a book writing and illustration contest for students in grades 3rd – 6th in school districts throughout Calhoun and Eaton counties.  This is the third year the College has offered the Project and nearly 1,300 students in 46 classrooms have participated in this wonderful opportunity.

In addition to the artwork display, several local students will be reading their own book submissions live throughout the evening.
