The Miller College Career Services Center will host speaker Annie Houle of the WAGE Project, Women Are Getting Even, on March 15th at the Battle Creek campus located at 450 North Avenue. Mrs. Houle will present a free workshop entitled, $tart $mart from 5:30 – 6:30 in Seminar Room C.
The workshop provides valuable information on benchmarks for salaries and benefits; salary negotiation skill building exercises; and teaches participants how to develop a personal budget to determine their own salary needs. $tart $mart is an interactive workshop designed to give women the confidence and skills they need to earn fair compensation and help close the gender wage gap.
The Miller College Career Services Center and the Battle Creek AAUW branch have partnered to provide this workshop.
