Also known as the “RN to BSN Program,” this degree requires at least 45 semester hours of 300 and 400 level courses in order to prepare students for the professional nursing role.
Nurse Applicant Program
The Nurse Applicant Program allows students who are currently on a waiting list at a community college to begin taking their core BSN requirements while they wait. It works like this:
1) The student applies to an RN program at a community college of choice.
2) While waiting to be admitted, the student begins taking core courses at Miller College.
3) Once accepted into the RN program at the community college, the student leaves Miller College and completes the RN program.
4) After receiving an RN license, the student returns to Miller College to complete the remaining courses for the BSN degree.
