Students will receive a full refund of all payments made provided they withdraw from a full semester class or the College on or before the date noted in the class schedule. If the College cancels a class, a full refund will be remitted. Students who are called to active duty with the armed services of the USA will receive a full refund provided they submit a copy of their orders.
PLEASE NOTE: Alternative format courses (those less than a full semester in duration) follow a different schedule. Information regarding schedule adjustment, course withdrawal, and refunds for those courses is available from the Student Services Office.
Deadline dates for refunds are found in the Academic Calendar. In order to drop a class and receive a refund, students must initiate an official class drop prior to the drop deadline. Refund of payments includes funds paid directly by the student, or through institutional and/or outside resources, if these funds have created a credit balance on the student’s account. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office regarding the refund process for federal and state aid.
A Refund Appeals Committee is in place to consider refund appeals from students. Students appealing a refund should submit a letter explaining their particular circumstance to the Refund Appeals Committee within the semester the course was taken. The letter should be submitted to the address below.
